My role as a therapeutic foster parent has blessed me with the joy and chaos of caring for numerous wonderful children, each leaving an indelible mark on my heart. Life, however, hasn't always been a smooth journey. I've navigated through some of life's toughest storms – from battling serious medical conditions and facing homelessness to enduring the heartbreaking loss of my husband and supporting my daughter through her own health challenges. These experiences tested my faith but also strengthened it, teaching me the true meaning of resilience and the unyielding love and support that comes from Above. When I talk about faith, it's not just a concept; it's my lived reality.
Amidst these trials, I've cultivated a thriving travel empire, embarked on an MBA journey, and nestled into my dream home by the St. Johns River in sunny Florida. My professional path has been equally diverse and fulfilling. With over 15 years as a pediatric nurse, 8 years in education, two decades as an entrepreneur, and more than 12 years as a personal coach and mentor, I've gathered a wealth of experience and insights that I'm eager to share.
I'm an animal lover at heart, with two adorable Shih-Tzu mix dogs who are my little fashionistas. Remember that your journey is uniquely yours. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Trust that your path, even with its challenges, is divinely crafted for your good.
In moments of hardship, recall James 1:2-4, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." Your trials are shaping resilience and strength within you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." In times of uncertainty, seeking divine guidance can bring clarity and direction.
Philippians 4:4 says, "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" In every situation, try to find reasons for joy and gratitude. This attitude can transform your perspective and your circumstances.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 teaches, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." You don't have to face life's journey alone; seeking support strengthens and uplifts you.
